better late than never :)

Ok, so what if im a little slack on this blogging thing? It's not like i have kids, and a house to keep, and dinner to cook, and laundry to wash, and 346,684,821 toys to pick up. Geez. Cut me a little slack.
I've decided to update this before i forget some of the things going on in my SUPER busy life.

Kaitlyn:
- She is just getting over being sick back to back... first time was the lovely throw up/diarrhea virus - then came down with strep the week after. NOT FUN!

- She goes to preschool every Tues/Thurs (when shes not sick). At first, she would walk right in and never look back at me... here lately shes been clinging to my leg and the teacher is having to pry her off of me. She never cries when i leave, just hangs her little head. BUT, when i go to pick her up - she is always smiling ear to ear and her teacher says she does wonderfully in class. I'm beginning to think its just me - and she just knows how to work the system. HA! :) Anyways, having her in this preschool has made a huge difference in her. SO GLAD we did this!!!
- She is still in her 'terrible twos'... and from what i've heard, the 3's arent going to be much better. We have meltdowns everyday, more than once a day. She's very aquainted with the 'time out' corner as well. ONE DAY it will pay off. Lately, i've been clinging to this quote i found... "But we must be faithful to sow today. Faithful to train. Faithful to teach. Faithful to discipline. Faithful to love. And we must trust God that He will fulfill His promises, that we will reap a harvest in due season if we do not give up." AMEN!

- She loves to color, be read to, take baths(aka splash around), have her back rubbed, etc. She is so incredibly strong-willed, but goodness, its impossible not to love her. :)

Caleb:

- He just went for his 4 MONTH Dr. appointment yesterday and he weighs 14lbs. 10oz. (which is the 46%) and he is 26.75 inches long (which is the 90%). He is healthy and growing like a weed! He is already growing out of 6-9 month sleepers (bc of the feet!) and wears mostly 9 month regular clothes.
- He is ALWAYS smiling! Love his little gummy grins!!
- He is grabbing toys and even taking them to his mouth to chew already!
- He gets a bottle most of the day, but i still breastfeed at night. :) He usually only gets up once.
- He found his toes last month, and now he's ALMOST rolling over. He gets halfway, but then can't get that shoulder out from under him.

- He's officially putting himself to sleep these days... SO EXCITED! Its hard at first, but once they start doing this, it is AMAZING how much better the day goes by. They're happy. You're happy. It just works.
- He's a total mommy's boy already... and im definitely okay with that!! :)

I wanted to say how much i love my husband too. He is truly a good man and can't imagine my life without him. He helps me out so much and i appreciate him and his positive outlook on life. :)

LOVE MY KIDS!!!!
